Pizzeria Bufala’s Story
Welcome to Pizzeria Bufala
Ciao! I'm Thomas, Head Pizzaiolo. I created Pizzeria Bufala in 2021 through my love and passion for Authentic Neapolitan Pizza.
I learnt the art of Pizza Napoletana at the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN) in Naples, Italy where I trained under Maestro Enzo Esposito (the great grandson of Raffaele Esposito, who created the first Margherita Pizza in 1889).
I created this business so I could share my passion with you.
The Authentic
Italian Taste
We craft our pizza using the finest quality ingredients. We import most of our ingredients such as flour, tomatoes and cheese directly from Italy but also supplement these with beautiful fresh, local produce to create the finest Neapolitan pizza.
Please note, we do not use pineapple in any of our recipes.
Our Vintage Van
We make your special day that extra special with our amazing vintage van!
Originally built in 1965, our Citroen HY Van was imported from France in 2021 and beautifully restored in the UK for Pizzeria Bufala over a period of 6 months.
He's an original 1.9 petrol engine and if we're lucky, can reach speeds of 40mph downhill. Considering Enzo only has 3 gears, no ABS, no power-steering, no seatbelts and is left-hand drive, he's actually a pleasure to drive!
